FREEHDX respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users and content partners to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable laws. Although our operations may be based in India, for DMCA purposes we handle notices under U.S. standards and procedures.
1) How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and you believe that content available on our website infringes your copyright, please send us a written DMCA notice including all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (a description or a representative list).
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it on our site (please provide the exact URL(s)).
- Your contact information (full name, company (if applicable), mailing address, telephone number, and email address).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

3) What Happens After We Receive a Valid Notice
Upon receipt of a complete and valid DMCA notice, we may remove or disable access to the identified material and may notify the party that provided or posted the content (if applicable). If your notice is incomplete, we may request additional information before taking action.
4) Counter-Notification (DMCA Counter-Notice)
If you believe that material you provided was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location (URL) where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. federal court for your district (or, if you are outside the United States, an appropriate U.S. judicial district), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or their agent.

5) Repeat Infringer Policy
In appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, we may terminate or restrict access for users or accounts that are deemed to be repeat infringers.
6) Misrepresentations
Please note that under U.S. law, anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing (or was removed by mistake) may be subject to liability for damages.
